Sigh, I know they're Brits but what did those poor kids do to deserve that punishment?

I love watching these vids!

My English friend really wanted to try BBQ while she was here and we made the mistake of going to Tony Roma's. The ribs were like shoe leather and the sauce was totally uninspired. It occurred to me later we should have taken her to Home of Good Barbecue, where the brisket is so good it makes your toenails curl.

I felt like we let her down.

When I visited her, she wanted to take me to an American eatery that she enjoyed, to see how their barbecue stood up, but it was closed down.

I'm totally feeling that ..

Short ribs are awesome!
How I'd do that is put 20-25 mins of smoke on 'em, then have teh oven on prime rib setting and go right there for like 4 mins and shut it off.
Oh, and my buddy from here taught me to put the fat side down. It gets like beef bacon.
Done in 2 hrs.
