Fortunately, America has a free market for pharmaceuticals and hope is being provided to the victims of some of our most popular cancers.

If our system was totally socialized, would these new drugs even been developed? Investors made the decision that the approach that these drugs had offered the most hope to be successful and provide return on their investments.

If America has socialized medicine, any research would have to be authorized by government bureaucrats and politicians. They would not have their own money involved and would pick which projects to back based on political consideration.

Would the same decisions to back Keytruda been made by some pointy head in Washington?
