If you point your car at an officer that is standing in front of it and hit the gas, you may get shot. I don't think I would have responded in the same way as the agent in this case, but that doesn't mean it wasnt justified.

I said it was legally justified, but it was unnecessary, unhelpful and wrong.

I'm still trying to figure out why they wanted to arrest her anyway, since ICE was the ones blocking the street. However, we all know that "contempt of cop", while being constitutionally protected, is persecuted by law enforcement regardless.

There won’t be any trial. The shooting was within the legal bounds, which is a very low bar.

That doesn’t change the fact that it was totally unnecessary to kill her. And it doesn’t cover up that ICE doesn’t respect the law or the citizens of this country.

In her situation, the accelerator pedal should have been no-where near her foot. She should have been standing outside her vehicle about three seconds after a federal officer told her to get out of her vehicle.
