And remember, Trump was responding to charges that were based on 40 year old, contradicted accusations, which the accuser had already accepted settlement for out of court for which she then waited until right before Trump's reelection to try to rehash, so the timing was HERS, not Trump's.

A conviction with no meaning since there has never been any sentence and the whole matter now lays in appeal to SCOTUS. If guilty, it is the most white collar bogus technical crime in history and if there had been any real meat to it, the prosecution would not have disallowed the defense's expert witnesses, they would have clearly delineated the exact charges (Trump was never told what exactly he was being prosecuted for!), and the jury would not have been given special instructions that they could all come to different conclusions yet still find Trump guilty.

The entire case was so bogus that when brought, half the businesses in NYC shouted in horror, and were told: "Don't worry, we will never do this to any of you, this is a one-time special case being filed just to get Trump."
