He doesn't know and neither does Trump. Trump's evidence is a tattoo and a baseball hat and a hoodie which may or not be evidence of MS-13 membership. As one might expect that is enough evidence for Trump to send him to prison for the rest of his life, totally ignoring the facts that Garcia has never been convicted of anything anywhere, that he was under protection of a court order, and his deportation was without due process.

If Trump can get away with this, he'll repeat it with other migrants, legal permanent residents, and US citizens. Give him an inch and he'll take a mile. He has to be stopped now.

You could tell by the wife's hesitating to answer whether she was in fear of Kilmar that she is in fear of his brother gang members. In El Salvador, the gangs are far less of a threat than they are in Maryland.

Trump holding that picture of Garcia and the tattoo is exactly why Trump will never allow him back in the US. Trump can't allow Garcia to walk off of a plane in the US holding his hands up showing he has no MS-13 tattoo.

Trump is paying El Salvador millions to keep him in prison. If Trump gave the word, Garcia would join the hundreds buried behind the prison that had unfortunate accidents.
