The immigration judge denied the original asylum claim because the time limit to make such a claim had expired. That is true.

However, the judge did allow Garcia to submit a new claim and the judge heard his case. The immigration judge found Garcia’s testimony in that case “credible,” “internally consistent” and supported by “substantial documentation.” As a result, the judge issued an order that protected Garcia from deportation which the Trump administration ignored.

^ That has been my main point on this topic. What many here still don't get is that if we play fast and loose with the rights and due process of others, namely the bad people we don't like...we're shooting ourselves in the foot, because it establishes a precedent that will eventually come back to US, when the wrong people get in power.

As I've stated so many times...conservatives and patriots have already been falsely labeled criminals or "domestic terrorists." That has happened a number of times in the past, and I think it's just going to get worse, because the word "terrorist" has been increasingly weaponized in the last couple decades.

Trump flat out stated "homegrowns are next" in the context of sending people off to foreign gulags. Anyone who thinks that non-criminal dissidents or patriots who are deemed "anti-government" are safe from Gestapo-like tactics (or worse) is naive and lacking in the discernment department, imo.

Marco Rubio labeled Garcia an international terrorist based solely on ICE’s unsubstantiated claim that he was affiliated with MS-13. This designation came despite the fact that ICE’s so-called “evidence” was thoroughly dismantled in appellate court, which also rejected their assertion that Garcia had a criminal record.

Since you brought that up...I saw part of a documentary recently and it was about ^ that motto, and where it came from. Trump learned that from his mentor, Roy Cohn, and it stuck with him from then on.

According to Roy Cohn's cousin and others who knew him, Cohn's M.O (that he taught Trump) was that even if you're guilty "it doesn't matter, don't ever admit guilt".... and he taught exactly what you said above, deny everything, don't defend but go on the offense and fight. In other words, if you're ever accused of something, turn the tables and make the other person the bad guy.

NGL, when I heard that it made me sad...it's an evil, ugly M.O to live by. But Roy Cohn was an aggressive lawyer, and I guess that's how he won cases. Cohn was also someone who had mob connections, and was known for being ruthless and corrupt.

Trumps said that Kilmar has "M" "S" "1" "3" tattooed on his left hand, and instead you ca clearly see a pot leaf, smiley face, cross, and skull.

In 2024, under Biden, DHS refused to go after him. Biden is a traitor and this is the kind of shit he has done.

He was with detained while waiting in a parking lot along with 2 others that the police say were ms13 gang members. There has been no evidence or confirmation that those 2 other people were ms-13, nor that Abrego was even associated with them. The assessment was based on his clothing of wearing a Chicago bulls hat and hoodie. That same year, one of the police officers that interviewed Garcia that night was fired for misconduct, lol. As for his wife, there's no evidence he ever beat her, lol. Now tell me, why do you hate the constitution and the 5th amendment so much?
