Once you have probable cause for search warrants you can get documents, and the accomplices start flipping.

It doesn't give you the right to call or interview people who aren't part of the state's case against you. The prosecution hasn't listed the members of the J6 Committee as Witnesses. They aren't on ANY witness list for the prosecution.

They have nothing to tell the court about Trump's crimes. They weren't at the White House, and they didn't attend any of Trump's meetings with his co=conspirators. Any evidence they would give would be "hearsay" which is inadmissable.

They have to tell the court how this witness' testimony is pertinent to the case. How is the testimony of the members of the January 6th committee pertinent to Trump's defence?. They witnessed nothing except what happened to them in the House chamber that day. They didn't know about Trump's plans or schemes, until they talked to the witnesses that Jack Smith WILL be using at trial.

What possible evidence could the members of the January 6th Committee provide to the Defence? The Defence has to prove that the witnesses being called can provide evidence which would exonerate him. He can't call people who weren't parties to crime, or witnesses to his actions as the crime was ongoing.

You can't call just anybody you want. You have to provide the court with information as to why their testimoney is relevant to your Defence.

Actually Trump got ALL of the January 6th committee transcripts, every darn one of them, which was pointed out to Trump's lawyers, who made false claims in court, that they didnt.

Once corrected in court on that they changed their tune and said they wanted certain video evidence from January 6th with no reason as to why it was important to his case. Trump team is behind on letting the judge know what parts of the discovery evidence in the transcripts turned over would be used or needed and had not even gone through that yet and calling for more evidence when they had no reason for it being needed was then denied by the judge and seen as a stalling or fishing expedition, which is not allowed in the process.

When and if the trump team ever has reason for more evidence from the 1/6 Committee pertinent to his trial case, it won't be denied.
