Breaking News!!! Musk Floats Idea of Starting New Rival Political Party—and Even Names It—The American Party

It’s sad that Time would even post such obvious BS.

Musk hints about starting a third party?

Who cares? He doesn’t understand anything about politics or government.

And 200 million X users did not endorse the idea.

But then, by now, we are well acquainted with Musk’s penchant for outrageously overstated claim.

Best thing that could happen.

I wonder now how the Trump supporters will attack this news, given that the Democrats do not have anything to do with this feud. They will no longer be able to answer the OP with criticizing Biden and the Democrats.

Will they be lost? Fighting each other?

Musk is the richest man on Earth, and he is a super talented businessman (contrary to Trump), and such a feud is going to have many within the Republican party at odds with each other.

How will the resolve this?

Third parties overpoll generally and the two establishment parties are pretty good about neutering the competition from 3rd parties. Musk can do as he likes, but since he cannot be POTUS he is not realistically going to find anyone noteworthy to jump ship from the other parties to run.

Musk Floats Idea of Starting New Rival Political Party—and Even Names It—Amid Trump Feud

In an escalation of Elon Musk’s fractured relationship with President Donald Trump and his Republican allies, the Tesla CEO has floated the idea of starting a new political party to rival the two-party system.

Musk conducted a poll via his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), asking his 220 million followers: “Is it time to create a new political party in America that actually represents the 80% in the middle?” The public results show that around 80% of respondents voted yes.

If this occurs, it is possible that both the Republican and Democratic parties would be crushed in the 2028 election..................if not sooner.

Talk about Trump's incompetent stupidity, once again being shown. You do not go against the richest man on Earth, and one that is a proven successful business man, and hope to come out ahead.
Democrats spend. Democrats waste. Trump spends. Elon does’t like either. A third party that has some steam would wreak havoc on a democrat party stuck in 27 percent approval ratings.

By all means, bring it on!

You are comparing something that has not existed before to what now exists? And you think you will be listened to? hahahaha
You are delusional if you think a third party is going to spring out of nowhere and win. By the way, you are also delusional if you think Andrew Yang and Musk can collaborate on a new party. Also, what about your complaint that the richest man in the world can buy an election?

Not faster than Trump's fall. Money and talent works that way

Trump's fall.

HA!

Dude, the epic ascent, fall, THEN a thousand percent rebound of one Donald J., will be forever remembered throughout the annals of political history.

You best hope what is less remembered is your stupid "walls are closing in" perpetual bologna over the last 10 years.

You have the worst fucking track record possible.

Your media, your politicians?

You all lost - despite having everything drastically rigged in your favor.

And you still are in denial.

Personality disorder out the ying yang.

Trump broke you, see a shrink.

I hope they hit the bottom in a dead heat.

You've been hoping and hoping and hoping for literally 10 years.

Have you ever stopped and thought that maybe - just MAYBE - your choice for where you get your info, and your frame of reference on reality may be a bit....errrr...flawed?

Of course not.

Because you either

A) Cannot admit it to yourself since the thrashing tidal wave of cognitive dissonance would vaporize what's left of your brain

or

B) Know it's true, but don't care because truth isn't your bag - you're just a miserable little commie.

Or some combination thereof.

Glad to help you grasp for clarity on this.

My track record does not depend on the Democrats. I have a personal record for 18 years in my evaluations on what is to happen and so far, I have been right much more than wrong

Tell that to Musk, not me. He made the statement

If you say so, it must be true

Learn from the Bloombergs! Gaining executive power is not easy. Musk is a techie, not a politician. Does he know anything about political tactics? Money alone cannot make his dreams come true. :)

👉 But..if Elon Musk were to lead a new political party in America with the goal of winning the White House, several strategic actions could be undertaken:

1. Clear Vision and Platform: Develop a clear, compelling vision that addresses current issues like climate change, technology regulation, healthcare, and education. Prioritize innovation and sustainability.

2. Leverage Social Media: Utilize Musk's significant social media presence to engage directly with voters. Regular updates, Q&A sessions, and polls can create a sense of community and transparency.

3. Grassroots Campaigning: Establish strong grassroots efforts to mobilize supporters. Organize local events and rallies to build enthusiasm and gather a diverse coalition.

4. Focus on Key Demographics: Target younger voters who resonate with Musk's technological background and progressive ideas. Emphasize policies that address their concerns, such as student debt reform and job creation.

5. Strategic Alliances: Form alliances with existing movements and organizations that align with the party’s vision. Collaborating with environmental groups and tech advocates can broaden support.

6. Innovative Fundraising: Implement creative fundraising strategies, utilizing both traditional methods and modern crowdfunding platforms.

7. Policy Proposals: Offer unique and actionable policy proposals that differentiate the party from traditional candidates, such as universal basic income or advanced public transportation systems.

8. Debate Preparation: Prepare extensively for debates, demonstrating knowledge and communication skills to sway undecided voters.

9. Address Controversies: Tackle controversies head-on, providing clear explanations or apologies when necessary to maintain public trust.

10. Vision for Unity: Promote a message of unity and collaboration, focusing on solutions rather than divisive politics.( just don't act like Trump )

By implementing these strategies, Musk could significantly boost his party's chances in a presidential campaign. :)
