Nope, not for a minute. We knew he would because Presidents - including Trump- almost always do pardon people who run afoul of the law by being associated with a president.

This is actually what the pardon was designed for, to act as a check and balance against the judiciary and overzealous prosecutions.

None of those associated with Trump whom he pardoned in his first term were whoremongering drug addicts, involved in laundering millions of dollars from Russia, China, and Ukraine, nor were they convicted of felony gun crimes.

Then why not lead with that? If there was some corruption in Ukraine and China (you mean other than the American Corporations that do hundreds of billions of dollars of business with them) then why not make a case for that and prosecute that?
