From what I can see, Russia releasing the stolen property, ie hacked emails from Clintons server, would benefit Trump.

In what way?

Receiving stolen property only requires it transfer to somebody that gives you a material benefit.

Forgetting for a moment that "material benefit" should not stand alone but be accurately described, if trump had not asked for the material to be released but it was released publicly anyway and he received some kind of "benefit" from it would he still be guilty of receiving stolen property? if he's not guilty then the above description is false and inaccurate, if he is guilty then trump asking for it has no bearing on a crime whether he asked for it or not

Ex: You buy a stolen items on Craigs list, and have it delivered to your mothers house. You are guilty of receiving stolen property. Because you knew it was stolen, and your mother didn't. And you colluded in the transfer.

The purchase and the delivery to a specific address is what makes that illegal, if you ask them to make that item free for public knowledge/consumption you are not doing anything illegal...one other thing, if keeping those e-mails private benefited hillary would she be guilty of anything? think about that before you answer...she could only benefit from them being kept secret the same way trump could benefit from them being released, and that is if there was something the public shouldn't know about her in them...Now, is anyone ever going to go on record about Maddows lack of credibility in this left wing running from pillar to post charade?

Actually it was Comey that said as many as 5 countries probably hacked her email and so far they haven't surfaced at all so I guess Putin wasn't listening. But she did use her unsecured blackberry while she was in Russia so it's likely they know everything that was on it. Of course the bitches gross negligence isn't the topic.

In yet another statement that is certain to spark outrage among Democrats, moments ago Donald Trump said he hopes that Russian hackers accused of breaching the DNC have obtained the tens of thousands of emails that Hillary Clinton deleted from her private email server, and that they will release them.

"If they hacked, they probably have her 33,000 emails. I hope they do," Trump told reporters on Wednesday at a press conference at his Miami-area hotel, adding that "I wish I had that power. I'd love to have that power" to orchestrate the alleged email hack and leak.

"They probably have her 33,000 emails that she lost and deleted. You'd see some beauties, so we'll see."

The Republicans allowed the FBI to look into the RNC to see if there were gaps in their security and sought advice to beef up their security. Democrats were offered the same thing and the DNC refused to allow the FBI to look into their system. Demonstrably their system was not secure and it was hacked. Whose fault is that?
