True, however it is doubtful that the DOJ under Sessions and Trump will be as dismissive as Obama's DOJ was. For Obama to say there was not a schmideon of evidence to support the claims against Lerner and the IRS before the investigation was over tells you it was a complete cover-up. I do not know how much evidence of wrong-doing exists that will stand up in court, but there's no doubt in my mind that she and the IRS did in fact betray the public trust.
