Yes, California has over 2,000 cases of TBThe rate in Alaska is higher than that of California- and yes I guess you can call Alaska a 'socialist' state since everyone get money from the state.

New Hampshire- apparently the center of capitalism- .8 per 100,000
Texas- slightly lower than California- 4.7
Alaska has 63 cases of TB (mostly among the eskimos)
