IMO, both Putin and Trump won from the negotiations on the Ukraine war in Alaska, this week.
Putin's goal was to allow the war to continue without serious sanctions from the USA.
He was able to meet both those goals along with the USA giving him the red carpet treatment seen by the world. As opposed to Zelinsky being yelled at and embarrassed, by Trump, at the meeting at the White House, seen by the world.
One of Trump's goal was to get the national attention off the call to make the Epstein files public. That he did. And as the fall out of no cease fire and next steps dominates the headlines we are hearing very little about Epstein.
