Trump has shut down his own government over a wall that he promised Mexico would pay for. So he is now trying to extort American taxpayers to pay for his wall by shutting down his own government. Now if Republicans really would have wanted Trump's WALL they would have funded his wall when they had a full house of Republicans in his first 2 years.During the first 2 years they didn't even discuss it. Instead they waited until the 2018 midterm, got wiped out in the house and are now claiming that Democrats don't want border security.



The issue is that Pelosi & Schumer are on record stating they have met with border security experts who are recommending high tech to secure the border. They are willing to spend billions for the use of high tech.

Republican Texas Congressman, Hurd, whose district covers 840 miles of the border says a wall is worthless and has formed a coalition of border representatives who are stating that high tech would be much more effective and efficient at protecting the border.

So the question now becomes, why isn't Trump listening to Republican Hurd and his coalition and border security experts? Why isn't he listening to Pelosi & Schumer who have agreed to fund high tech at the border? Because the WALL is what got him elected, and if the WALL goes down to another more effective efficient way of controlling the border, he goes down, along with Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and all the rest of the people that shoved Trump down your throats over the WALL. And that's the reason Trump won't budge on this. Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter are now running the country according to Mitch McConnell.

Laughable that the left wants to pretend that they want border security in any form or fashion. They are the proponents of the sanctuary city. We need more than just a wall and the right knows it. For the left, this is just a stance they are adopting to delay Trump and any improvement in border security.
