They are both monotheistic Abrahamic religions.

While both are monotheistic, the deities are completely different. Abraham grew up among those who worshiped the moon. Once introduced to the God that will go on to author the Torah, Abraham and God sat and ate and communed together around the camp fire in the evenings. Abraham never left that God. Using Abraham's name and creating a different God, in no way makes the Quran a religion of Abraham's.

About the OP, A children's book may have a phrase that God would agree with, but to say the Quran has credence or validity because it may contain a moral that the God of Abraham may also approve of is misleading and perilous. As is being convinced that the Gods are all the same even though their names differ. Allah and the Christian God are NOT the same. The Quran makes it quite clear that ALLAH HAS NO SON.
We rely on the fact that the God of Abraham has a Son that removed our sin and salvaged our eternal souls.

Jews also do not accept that God had offspring. Jews, like the Muslims, do not accept original sin. All three Abrahamic religions worship the same creator God who loves man and is endlessly merciful... Allah is just God in Arabic.. sort of like Germans, Italians and Spaniards have a word for God in their languages.

If they are all the same God, then how is it that one has a Son, and the other has none?

I don't think you realize that the Bible or the OT part of the Bible was not written by the hand of God. A great number of the stories within the Old Testament were simply the result of the Hebrew priests attempting to create a set of myths and stories by which they could organize their own religion, their own philosophy, in order to form a more cohesive society in those days. Many of the stories are based off of older stories and many do come from India and ancient Sumerian.

Yes, sort of.. Most of the foundational stories are much older than Judaism. See North Coast Canaanites (Ugarit) Their purpose is to illustrate God's relationship with man with a recurring theme of redemption.

The Qur'an can't be inspired by God because it head on collides with many things that God established and published centuries before the quran.

Yet, you think the Tanakh and the New Testament were inspired by God.. I doubt God would have made so many mistakes about geography. Have you read the Koran?

The formatting is almost impossible. Abraham also had six sons by his Arab wife Keturah.

Ur didn't exist in the time of Abraham.. He may have been from Urfa in Syria. Mark and Luke certainly flunked geography. 30 minutes research will bring you up to speed on that.

No Ur did not exist at the time of abraham. it would have been underwater because of the diversion on the river. abraham was a north coast Canaanite from Syria.
