Phoenix is like LA only much much hotter. Never Phoenix but Sedona maybe. Of course any large city regardless of where it is just can't help being a shithole for the most part.

I lived in Boise for a year back in the 2000s. I like hunting and fishing, and there was plenty not far from the town. Boise is a college town, so you will encounter leftist idiocy at times, as well as the filth that inevitably travels with leftists (bums, drugs, public intoxication, body odor, etc.). Not much of that yet, though I'm sure the Democrats are working on it.
