As long as they do not go crazy with it I do not really see an issue.

A co-worker has about 6 in each ear.

But in reality is getting the nose or the lip or even the bellybutton pierced any different than getting the ears pierced? The only real difference is that we are not used to it in this society.

I had one ear pierced before I joined the Marines. It closed up while I was at boot camp and never did it again.

A bit much for my taste, the huge nose ring being the worst offender.

I have never kissed anyone with pierced lips, I wonder if they get in the way a good kiss.
