Actually, that's not true. First of all..the war ended in 1918. The Revolution was in response to that loss. Regardless of the political situation in Germany, the war had been militarily lost and the German high Command so informed the Kaiser.The Bolsheviks fomented the German Revolution of 1918-19, helping to turn the tide in WW I. The German citizens had every right to be bitter and angry.
Secondly, the Communist and Radical Socialists were discredited and the moderates formed the Weimar Republic.
As to the right of the German people to be bitter and angry..they sure liked the war when things were going the German way. As the trench warfare dragged on..bitter and angry became the rule of the day....although the true scope of the disaster for Germany was kept from the people, causing many of them to believe that the politicians had 'stabbed them in the back' and had surrendered when the military was on the verge of victory.
