BLM in the wrong place.

So members of the military can't go on news shows?

They can't vote?

They give up their Constitutional rights in order to become soldiers?

You are SO wrong.

The only restrictions on speech are those that fall into the "loose lips sink ships" category.

I have no problem with making a political statement. Its a Constitutional right of all US citizens. While in uniform of the US military you do not have that right. If these cadets are trying to make such a statement they should be immediately thrown out of West Point.

Army investigates: Are these West Point cadets making a political statement in uniform?
You can make a political statement while in uniform....As long as you fall withing the allowable guidelines.

It's just a senior moment..

What if it was a bunch of whites guys supporting the KKK in their uniforms?

It's not though, is it?

It's the same thing

In your mind, but that is not the reality here.

Military members are not allowed to support a political agenda while in uniform because it reflects on the service.

They can show their support for any political agenda they want when not in uniform.

This isn't that difficult...

Would anyone here like to see the Joint Chiefs show up in uniform at a Trump rally with signs supporting him?

Voting is something done in a booth. When you put on the uniform keep the political shit in your head.

Duck and cover because that would be a Liberal shit flinging storm.

This issue is not a Conservative or a Liberal one. I would say the same exact thing if a group of current military service members went to a NRA rally in uniform.

Only if its non-partisan. Name something today that isn't ?

It's a question of what the symbol represents.

Does it represent these women moving apart from the society they are serving to protect, or does it merely say "we're black, we're in the military, we're getting on with our lives"?
