Blast from the past

We still have old VH in our collections.
 
I bought a Sony Beta-Max.

It actually worked out quite well for me during the video rental days as new releases would be sent to the stores in both Beta and VHS....While all the VHS movies would be rented-out I never had any trouble getting a Beta movie.
 
Classic rock star's concerts in the 1970s. Being from Atlanta we always had some great concerts, Atlanta Rhythm Section of course, Alman Brothers, ZZ Tops, Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ,etc,etc,etc,

Beta was a better format as far as quality of recording. VHS had recording time and a high number of manufacturers, reducing the price, which is why it won the battle.
 
DVD's are the latest iteration of outdated tech, more current that CD's, of which you can't find devices to even play them on any more.
