Black Unemployment Climbs Despite Trump's Campaign Promises

Can you post anything to back that up or did you just pull that out of your 4th POC?
You're free to look at the bell curve and profession among the demographics.

How many black basketball players are there?
  • Reporter: How many people who major in the same musical vineyard in which you toil, how many are protest singers? That is, people who use their music, and use the songs to protest the uh, social state in which we live today, the matter of war, the matter of crime, or whatever it might be.
  • Bob Dylan: Um... how many?
  • Reporter: Yes. How many?
  • Bob Dylan: Uh, I think there's about uh, 136.
  • [People around him giggle. The reporter doesn't laugh]
  • Reporter: You say ABOUT 136, or you mean exactly 136?
  • Bob Dylan: Uh, it's either 136 or 142.

Seriously...when was the last time Congress passed a budget instead of a CR?

Nope, all we heard is how much Trump did for black employment, so what happened?

Thxs for not answering the question.

When was the last time Congress passed an actual budget; not a CR?
It's been a while, which means the president has even less control of the economy than before. This has been my point for a long time, you can't just point at the guy in the White House and say he's responsible for the economy, you have to look at Congress as well.

And you can't really give him credit either then right--you have to give that to Congress as well.

Amazing how with folks like yourself, every positive development is the President's spectacular planning and every negative development is Biden's legacy. It's almost as if you're being intellectually dishonest.

Both play roles. Do you not see that?

We saw that same phenomenon play out when The Fragile One was president. He was off the hook for as long as it took to produce positive results.

You could have a point there except for the fact that I do not grant the president blame or credit for the economy. It takes both branches of the government to make and pass a budget, and democrats hide their responsibility behind the president. Note that the architect of the Schumer Shutdown keeps complaining he has to meet with the president to reopen the government instead of wheeling and dealing with the opposition party.

Sure. But nothing gets spent unless the President signs off on it. So therefore the money being spent is at the President's direction.

Not sure who you're talking about there.

The bottom line is that if the President doesn't want the money spent, they don't have to sign the bill. No amount of caterwalling by Schumer or Pelosi or anyone else in Congress can change that.

That is why it's the Trump shutdown.

Once a bill is signed, it becomes law. Don't you remember all the court cases claiming that TRUMP! wasn't legally able to cancel spending?
Not sure who you're talking about there.
When Obama was elected, his partisans would not accept any criticism of him AT ALL, and he had a thin skin, hence The Fragile One.

Nonsense. A president faced with a bill passed by Congress that he doesn't like has only the option to veto or refuse to sign it. If he vetoes it, it goes back to Congress for an override vote. If he refuses to sign it, it becomes law without his signature. Schumer is stopping the bill from even getting to the president.

This is the Schumer Shutdown, has been and will be. TRUMP! has nothing to do with it. Here's a clue. If they pass the CR, TRUMP! signs it. That's the bottom line. The holdup is Schumer.

Ok. And?
When Obama was elected, his partisans would not accept any criticism of him AT ALL, and he had a thin skin, hence The Fragile One.
lol….sure; you guys never defend the blob. Riiiiight.

Which is correct but is practically not in play these days.

Schumer is stopping the bill from even getting to the president. This is the Schumer Shutdown, has been and will be.
You’re pretending that the GOP wouldn’t do anything the blob says. How silly of you.

surely You don’t even believe what you’re writing, correct?

Glad we don't have any of those around, they sound boring.

Which means your whining about what TRUMP! might do with a CR Congress passed is just noise.

Okay, consider:

1. Who stopped the vote on the bill in the first place? Not TRUMP!
2. Who is preventing a vote on the CR right now? Not TRUMP!

That's who is responsible for the Schumer Shutdown. All the caterwauling to the contrary is just noise.
