A handful of Black Georgia high school students were suspended from school on Friday after trying to plan a protest against racism.

The protest plans began after a group of students flew a Confederate flag and spewed racial slurs last week at Coosa High School.

"I felt really disrespected, how the school didn't do anything about it," said Deziya Fain, one of the students who organized the protest.

She also said the school does not allow them to wear Black Lives Matter apparel on campus, which she said was a double standard.
Indeed, the school policies are unjust.

How far were they willing to go where the planned protest is concerned? In other words, what kind of activity was it going to consist of?

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Depending on how far they planned on taking the protest, perhaps they are lucky that a suspension is the only punishment that they will be suffering. What they rather be indicted, incarcerated, sentenced, etc.?

they black kids ar instigating it with racist hate for whites. this was not happened till blm came into being.
Wow are you kidding me, well tell me simpleton who instigated all the hatred, racism and discrimination that black folks have endured since this country was founded.

You somehow seem to speak for the unwashed of the nation of the unwashed. My family tree did not see any improvements in their lives until the mid 1950's. African Americans at the latest was the mid 1970's. But differences in no social programs for one group and massive social programs for another's created a fork in the ways of progress. So even with the past, by today this should be over!

If it was me, I would use the suspension to protest all day outside of the school,

^^^ True, but it would have to be where ever the property line is of course.

God bless you always!!!

If I were the suspended kids, I would walk the sidewalk in front of the school with signs saying the school supports racism
