Bisexuals

Since they "love" both sexes don't anti polygamy laws hurt them? Should only gays and straights be able to marry the people they love?

Polygamy laws will be the next to go its not fair anyways, if I want to marry my 2 girl friends why can't I?

Being Bi sexual means you could be with either sex, it does not mean you will be with both.

Its like saying a straight person will marry multiple partners because they are attracted to the opposite sex. Polygamists are a very small sect. Much smaller than bi sexual people.

Oh and come out come out (based on pretty much everything you post)..not that there is anything wrong with your lifestyle.

Unless you're Anne Heche. Or is she merely ex-gay?

Look....Bootlicker is here. :clap2: No boots here to lick....unless you are moving in on the OP. He might like it.

She looks to be bi-sexual...a little crazy....and an opportunist. IMO, of course.

Marriage equality is marriage elasticity, with the goal of marriage extinction.

Masha Gessen, gay activist.

That's nice. One person. Does that one person (who you seem to have heard of, but I haven't) represent all gay people?

And if she did, so what? Marriage is a legal contract and nothing more. It does not create the relationship or change it. The idea that basic human behavior is going to change just because of a change in the law is ludicrous no matter who opines it.

Is there anything to prevent more that two people from entering into such a contract?

Or if your girlfriend wants to marry her two boyfriends.

Thats our business though, we're not hurting anyone.

The arguments against polygamy that I think have valid concerns are, bigger families that would be bigger burdens on society and a greater chance for abuse. As well as the fact that marriage law is set up all over the nation as a 2 party contract, and adding polygamy would mean a total restructuring of the system and may become too complicated and burdensome.

Yeah the system would have be to restructured to accomodate it, people are already living like this anyways their just not registering at the court house. I used to see a lady for a while that was the second wife of a rich Jewish guy in Los Angeles, he had 2 wives living with him he just didn't register them legally.

I fail to see how the same arguments cannot and were not applied to every other change to marriage laws. Either there is equality or there is not. If there is not, don't call it equality.

I agree, and I don't have any problem with people who choose poly relationships. I am on the fence about this issue. I don't think the government should be barring consenting adults from entering into marriage contacts, and that includes if they want a poly marriage.

However, I can see the problems that polygamy would bring.

O.o

Bigger families and a total restructuring of marriage law are not arguments you can make to any other challenge to marriage law except polygamy.
