It seems to be a pattern. Low IQ individual jailed after a false confession. Happens every day but the police are never accountable.

Even after this there are no fingers being pointed at guilty officers.

Still,if he had been American he would be dead now. So mustnt grumble.

Few states have capital punishment, and even fewer actually carry it out. It is unlikely he'd have been executed regardless. As for the arresting officers, after 39 years they would likely be dead.
