George DeMohrenschildt was a figure connected to alleged JFK kkiller Lee Harvey Oswald. He committed suicide in 1977, in Florida. On page 300 of his book Killing Kennedy, Fox News show host Bill O'Reilly claims to have heard the gunshot as he tried to interview DeMohrenschildt as he (O'Reilly) attempted to interview DeMohrenschildt.
But audio tapes as well as the wife of Gaeton Fonzi, an investigator, prove O'Reilly was in Dallas, TX and not Florida at the time of the suicide in question. This fact-check was actually done in 2013 before the controversy surrounding O'Reilly exploded. Link here
