The Hughes Amendment allows state governmental entities to transfer new machine guns...

A patriot in West Virginia has filled a bill which would do just that- transfer new machine guns to the public.

There would be a $250 fee charged.

Virginia wants to strip their citizens of the right to bear arms and WV wants to sell citizens machine guns. Strange times indeed. 😐

LOL....I will be immediately buying a small lot with a run down trailer on it in WV, and transferring residency if this passes. ;)

Now, if they bring this to PA, my in-laws have enough property to make for some seriously good auto-weapon firing ranges.

I bet, if you look at the deer crossing signs in WV, it already looks like they have machine guns.

1000% for 2A but giving the citizens, many on meth, dumb, etc a military rifle will not end well at all

this will certainly open a new chapter with D's for more gun bills

I'd make a deal. The government having military rifles often ends poorly also. Ban them outright so that no one has them and I'll support that.

There must be stringent vetting. NO mentally ill and no Democrats or leftist of any stripe can get hold of these.

You're wrong. The D's have crossed the rubicon. They are stockpiling weapons.
D's hate weapons but they are stockpiling them? makes no logical sense

LE cannot do their job with a single shot AR, hell even the UK special units have 3 burst or full auto
It would take a major shit storm for the USG to turn on it but WE have he numbers and MORE guns

I doubt it will ever happen in my lifetime

Then, guns for the people it is.

LOL, funny thing is these guns are 5k+

rich people will have them, not trailer park people

I would love a MP5, recreate my personal rainbow six

The bill is double talk sadly. The bill notes how the 2nd and Heller describes how the people may own such weapons.

It then notes how the state can set themselves up as the source of these guns to sell to the people.

Well no, if the 2nd allows the people the right (and I believe it does) it isn't the state that gets to set itself up as the distributor. It is the state that people are permitted by the 2nd to protect themselves.
