I think it was less of a "promise" sort of thing, and more that Beck just assumed that Massa would be down to shit talk everyone in the administration, seeing as how he'd just been essentially forced to resign. I think it was more of an assumption than promise, just from what I know of Massa. I could be wrong though.

The actions she described herself doing in the past were reprehensible. (my opinion from yesterdays news which i still stand by)

However, the fact that she owned up to them and admitted they were wrong shows she has grown and deserves to be forgiven. (my opinon after Todays News)

For using that critera in the past while performing her job duties she should have resigned even as we forgive her because she owned up to it in the end.
