I imagine the drones will increase over time as they are less expensive to operate than the choppers. In my general area I frequently see one Huey that canvases the general area especially in the later spring & thru summer during the fire season. I would imagine that keeping two pilots aloft plus fuel expenditure not to mention maintenance could co$t$ the taxpayer 600/700 dollars per hour. The drones could do the same job as the choppers for pennies on the dollar. Don't look for private, commercial & government drone surveillance to decrease anytime soon as people are definitely inquisitive creatures!
