Biden’s student loan cancellations to cost taxpayers $559B as households earning $300K benefit the most: study

It doesn't really matter what math it used, that is irrelevant. And that's what these people do, they throw out some irrelevant point to the topic, and then 'argue' with you over it, they're experts at it. I don't care what income bracket the people are in that are having loans 'forgiven' (even that word is a complete lie), it should be shifted, not forgiven. The only way they are forgiven is if the universities give the money back, which we know isn't happening. None should be 'forgiven', regardless of income level.

It's really disturbing to see how quick the left is to excuse illegally dumping debt on taxpayers. I never had an opportunity to vote on such matters. Biden, prompted by his desperation to buy votes, decided that he would ignore the law and act like any other third world dictator.

Here is an idea.

Stop using federal tax dollars to pay these stupid high tuitions.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

If the 'education' provides such great benefit, why are they needing their loans 'forgiven'?

So your contention is that those who do not get a college degree are being 'left behind'? What a completely arrogant bigot you are.
Facts aren't bigoted. They're just facts.

College-educated workers enjoy a substantial earnings premium. On an annual basis, median earnings for bachelor's degree holders are $36,000 or 84 percent higher than those whose highest degree is a high school diploma. The earnings gap between college graduates and those with less education continues to widen.

You're basically saying that you have to indoctrinate your kids before someone else indoctrinates them.

Right wingers love their indoctrination.

There are rich people in both parties, obviously. The characteristics of these rich people vary generally. Rich liberals tend to be the higher educated professionals. Rich conservatives tend to be small to medium size business owners. I don't have a lot of data about this, it's mostly my opinion but I think it's pretty accurate.

You're so ridiculously biased you will never understand any of what is being discussed on here with any kind of an open mind. Yours is sealed shut, you will never learn a damn thing, perhaps you're not even capable of it.

Anyone that is willing to argue that it's okay for grown men to shower with their daughters in order to defend your cult god, is completely without any integrity, morals, or honesty.

I explained it twice already. This is from the article:

Aside from the new $559 billion price tag, the Penn Wharton Budget Model finds that the new plan “will also relieve some longer-term student debt for about 750,000 households making over $312,000 in average household income.

Households earning more than $312,000 in income per year, with more than 20 years in repayment, will see an average of $25,541.39 in debt relief under Biden’s new plan.

You can cut and paste the numbers you earlier invented but for what purpose?

You falsely claimed you used data from the Wharton School when obviously you did not.

Your simplistic addition and subtraction is pointless.

Sure. Okay.

Amidst pretend-president Biden's vote buying scheme of student debt transfer is the true cost of the debt burden placed on taxpayers.

A Wharton study estimates that the various vote buying schemes will eventually cost taxpayers in excess of $559 Billion dollars.

Under the Dems / Socialists, spending and debt accumulation never ends, the middle class pays for everything but at what point do the Dems / Socialists literally kill off the middle class?

President Biden’s latest student loan cancellation plans will increase the total cost to taxpayers to a whopping $559 billion and benefit households earning more than $300,000 in annual income the most, according to a new study.
VOTE BUYING

Why does anyone making over 312k per year get their student loan debt erased? Justify that.

The facts are that Biden is illegally trying to transfer debt to taxpayers in a dishonest and sleazy vote buying scheme.

Why should grades 13-20 cost $50k-$100k per year?

Federal involvement has artifically raised tuiton and books.

We all had those profs who made you buy the LATEST EDITION OF THE BOOK THEY WROTE.

Dirty little NOT SO SECRET ABOUT ONE OF THE GRIFTS OF COLLEGE. Profs love to write a textbook and then make all their students buy the latest edition. (Now with WINGS DINGS FONT!)

I worked full time and took 12 hours per semester. When I graduated I had about $5k in total debt. It was a Stafford Loan that I FUCKING PAID BACK BECAUSE I BORROWED IT.

Then explain why they need their debt 'forgiven'?

I can't believe you're actually using the argument that college educated people make more money than ones who aren't, all while you're trying to defend one population having to pay for the other population's debt.

Feel free to point out what number you think I invented. You keep accusing me of this by refuse to explain.

Feel free to point out the exact citation for your numbers. You claimed you use Wharton data but refuse to provide the citation.

96% of the package helps those under that income level.
The study cited by Hollie says otherwise

Provide the US code citation that provides for Biden's cancellation of legally binding loan contracts.

What US code reference can you provide that allows Biden to transfer those loan amounts to the National debt?

Student loan forgiveness programs were passed by Congress and signed by the president years ago.
