It is very sad . . . and troubling. Biden is clearly suffering from serious cognitive decline, and it's only getting worse. There is no known cure.

Biden still has periods of lucidity, as do all other people who are in his stage of cognitive decline, but then he also has periods of disturbing confusion and lack of coherence. His aides can't keep him high on drugs all the time to make him appear lucid in all cases.
