I suspect that getting his economic bills through congress ... or not ... will make or break it totally. The child tax credit seems popular, and so was the bipartisan infrastructure. Raising taxes on the most wealthy is always popular. I've thought Biden's foreign policy performances were his weakest spot.

But his inability to create a coherent border policy is going to eat the dems alive in 22. And it shouldn't be that hard to just create an admistrative decision guide to keep a few obvious meritorious asylum seekers, and send back the rest to wait on a judicial hearing. And increase legal immigration numbers. That's how we have always fixed a labor shortage.

Biden has had a rough last few months. As time goes on Afghanistan will disappear into the rear view mirror and the crisis on the border will resolve itself.

Biden was smart to push his agenda early and get any backlash over with quickly.

Today he is a 43%, tomorrow he may be back above 50%.

Even at 43%, Biden is equal to or is above where the former guy was for nearly his whole 4 year term.

Not good numbers at all perhaps, but Biden has shown through out his political career that he is not unfamiliar with the art of the comeback.

Let the media start treating him like they did Trump. He will be toast.
