Bidenomics: Homelessness hit record high this year

Fuck me. Are we really doing "politics for fucking idiots" or what?

Come back to me when you've got something a 6 year wouldn't be able to color in with crayons.

Bye.
At least you admit this thread is over your head, Simp.

And, the Democrats still wonder why they lost to Trump again. This is why. Four years of economic malaise, while Biden sat on a Delaware beach.
And where is homelessness the highest? In the deep dark blue states. Under democrat policies, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, while being told that the economy is going great. Yeah, it's going great for the rich, not the poor or the middle working class.

Leftards always behave this way when they can't handle the truth.

Homelessness increased by DOUBLE DIGITS this year because of leftard incompetence.

Leftards simply deny reality when they can't handle it.

Try taking a bus in LA after midnight. Go ahead, give it a shot.

An undercount by Tater’s HUD.

On Friday’s broadcast of NPR’s “All Things Considered,” NPR National Correspondent Jennifer Ludden stated that the report from the Department of Housing and Urban Development that found a record number of homeless people is “widely considered an undercount.” And, according to HUD officials, the biggest factor in the record number is “the skyrocketing rents that we’ve seen in the past few years. They also cite the recent increase in migrants coming to the U.S.” who don’t have places to live.

Ludden stated that the number “is a count that takes place all around the country, every January. It’s compiled by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. And this year, it found 770,000 people living in shelters or outside on streets, in parks, in their cars. That is up 18% from last year, and it is the largest number since they started doing this report in 2007. … It is — I should also note — an undercount. It’s widely considered an undercount. This is a snapshot, one night in each place. It does not include people who may be crowding in with family or friends.”

4 years of Republican intransigence and refusal to pass any legislation to help the American people succeed.

You elected a Republican House in 2022, which controls the purse strings for all government spending on programs to help low income Americans, starting in 2023, and now you’re complaining that this has resulted in more homelessness.

Which party refuses to extend or pass the Child Tax Credit for low income Americans which lifted millions of children out of poverty and homelessness?

I am reminded that Republicans refused to pass funding for the children of Flint Michigan being poisoned by the town’s drinking water at any while Obama was in office. The first bill passed by Trump’s Republican House in 2017 funded health care for the poisoned children of Flint.

Republicans were prepared to continue to poison children so Democrats would have nothing to run on.

The Republican House of 2023/24 has spent all of their time and effort convicting Hunter Biden, and doing Trump’s biding and now you blame Biden for homelessness going up.

Why wasn’t Congress dealing with this?????

FFS, Dems held the WH for 12 of the last 16 years and all these things are the fault of the GOP?!

Get a life twit.

Dems controlled the White House, and Congress for the first two years of the Xiden admin, the Senate and White House the past two....and you blame the GOP?

The House passed the child tax credit bill, it's been sent to the Senate, almost a year ago....the Dems do nothing

So Trump is gonna make this problem go away?

We’ll see

Under Biden, child poverty and homelessness declined in 2021 and 2022. Millions were lifted out of poverty.

Repulicans in the House and Senate steadfastly refused to pass anything like the Child Tax Benefit, since even though Dems tried to put it in every funding bill they wrote.

$500/child per month to help the b poorest Americans lifted 8 million families out of poverty when the Dems controlled the House.

Once Republicans axed the program poverty and homelessness increased. This is on Trump and the Republicans in the House.

But hey, they convicted Hunter Biden!!!! Take that Dems!!!!

Not sure where you are getting your numbers.....a record number of Americans were worse off then prior to Harris and Xiden taking office.

As far as homelessness, Xiden set a record.

Here are some more facts: State of Homelessness: 2024 Edition

Record-High Homeless Counts. A record-high 653,104 people experienced homelessness on a single night in January 2023. This is more than a 12.1 percent increase over the previous year.

More People Than Ever Are Experiencing Homelessness for the First Time. From 2019-2023, the number of people who entered emergency shelter for the first time increased more than 23 percent.1

Record High Numbers of People Living Unsheltered, Especially Among Individuals. In 2023, a record high 256,610 people, or 39.3 percent of all people experiencing homelessness, were unsheltered. More than 50 percent of individuals experiencing homelessness were unsheltered.

Backward Movement. After years of declines due to targeted assistance, the numbers of veterans and chronically homeless individuals experiencing homelessness are both rising again, with a 7 percent and 12 percent increase, respectively, since the previous year.

The GOP didn't axe any program, as I showed you in my prior post, the passed legislation to continue the chidl tax credit, the Senate hasn't done anything with it.

So why do you keep lying?

Homelessness has been on a steep increase since

2016
That is another lie

Nowhere does that say that homelessness hasn’t been on a steep increase since 2016

um yes, in fact it does, it hasn't been a STEEP increase until Xiden and Harris.

These 12 and 18 percent jumps, are the results of four years of Dem policiies in place.

If you look back to 2007, you can see that the lowest numbers we have had, happened when Trump was in office.

If you want to be homeless, elect a dem
