If Johnson doesn't get the bill passed, the dems will use it against the GOP.

Chances are, Biden won't shut down the border. But we will get more border guards and more immigration judges out of the deal. That's better. And makes it easier for Trump once he takes office.

The bill sucks. We agree on that. But if the GOP doesn't pass it, the bottom line will be that they are stalling for Trump. To give Trump all the glory. That Biden was going to shut down the border, but the GOP failed. That's the narrative they're already running.
And for the democrats, it's working.

I am smarter than this. So why TF do you keep making out like I think Biden will actually shut down the border? The only way to prove it is to pass the bill and watch Biden break a promise. Those democrat strongholds like NYC and Chicago, who are suffering from too many illegals will have a solid reason to not support Biden in the upcoming election.
Imagine NYC or Chicago turning purple, instead of solid blue.

This is how the democrats keep kicking the GOP's ass and exposing their weakness. They put forth a crappy bill with just enough good things in it to bash the right for not accepting.
The right does the same thing. The NDAA that was passed during Trump, was a god awful POS unconstitutional bill. But it had a military pay raise in it. Trump even had a good conservative primaried over his no vote on that bill.

When 99% of the House and Senate are democrats and RINO's, nothing good can come from any legislation they pass or any bills that get signed into law.
