Of course, RWNJ's and their 'media" are freaking out.....................over horse shit.

The United States has launched an auction for 32 million barrels of crude from four strategic petroleum reserves (SPR) sites to be delivered between late-December and April 2022, the Department of Energy (DOE) said.
The sale of SPR oil, which is mainly blended sour crude, is expected to depress the value of U.S. sour crude Mars and benefit buyers in Asia which processes mainly high-sulphur oil.
The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday it will release millions of barrels of oil from strategic reserves in coordination with China, India, South Korea, Japan and Britain, to try to cool prices after OPEC+ producers repeatedly ignored calls for more crude.
About 10 million barrels will be made available from Big Hill and Bryan Mound in Texas, about 7 million barrels from West Hackberry in Louisiana and another 5 million barrels from Bayou Choctaw in Louisiana, DOE said on its website.
Companies are required to submit bids on Dec. 6 and contracts will be awarded no later than Dec. 14.
"Spread across four months, this equivalent to a steady 270,000 b/d stream of medium sour grades, direct competition to Mars," JBC Energy analyst Viktor Katona said, adding that the quality of crude to be released will have API gravity of 31 to 33 degrees.
Heavy oil evaporates slowly and contains material that will be used to make heavy products like asphalt.
Light oil requires less processing and produces a greater percentage of gasoline and diesel than heavy oil.
The standard unit of measurement for oil weight is API Gravity. This scale was created by the American Petroleum Institute to measure the density of oil. Below are some visual examples of heavy oil and light oil.
The higher the API, the lighter the oil.
The lower the API, the heavier the oil.
What makes a particular crude sweet or sour is the amount of sulfur it contains. Sweet crude has very low levels of sulfur, well under 1%. Sour crude has as much as 1-2% of sulfur.
Midstream companies and refiners that transport, store, and process sour oil know they need extra treating capabilities to take out the sulfur and sweeten the product.
So, the oil exported is close to trash, as far as the US oil refiners are concerned. (API gravity of 31 to 33 ) degrees
That doesn't stop the RWNJ's from crying.
