Why make a big deal out of this? Biden won't have a running mate unless he wins the Dem nomination. That's a long way down the road, not much of a talking point right now. And it's common practice for presidential candidates of both parties to pick a running mate who might bring in the vote of a particular demographic. That's been going on forever. Trump did the same thing with Pence. Trump's never been known for his strict Christian behavior, but he needed the ultra-conservative evangelical Christian vote....so he picked someone who could deliver that. Who someone who may or may not be running for election at some future point in time might be thinking about as one of a long list of possible running mates doesn't seem to be pressing news. The possibility exists that you may be passing on fake news.
