Biden announces 500 million Covid test kits.

Is that the same January where Fauci said it was nothing worse than the flu? Is that the same Fauci who was a presidential advisor?
Is that the same January the House was all consumed with an impeachment hearing and didn't have time for a stinking virus?
They sure took the time to exploit it later.....'never let a crisis go to waste'
I don't know what Fauci said in January 2020 nor care. The President said it was a Democratic hoax and politicized it.

And yes it is the same January where President Trump was going through an impeachment hearing due to trying to blackmail the Ukraine for dirt on his political rival.

Before you post BS, I'd think it would be real important to check who was advising Trump and what they publicly said, which directly transpires to what He says to the public.

Same Ukraine that Biden publicly admitted shaking down their government if they didn't get so an so out of office or they wouldn't get a shit load of US cash?

Hell's bells.....but that was OK.....but Trump...

Remember the recent study showing something like 70% of Democrats believe the hospitalization rate is greater than 35% (and a majority believing it's 50% or more). It wasn't much better for Republicans, at around 30% who believe the hospitalization rate is greater than 35%.

In reality, the hospitalization rate is less than 2%. Very few of those polled in either party knew that. This is the result of the panic porn being peddled by all news media, left and right, and social media censorship. Even on here, you have conservatives constantly starting threads about covid deaths in an effort to dish it out after a year of the left doing the same.
You are correct and beyond that, in good times, hospitals are operating near capacity most of the time. I've listened to EMT/Police frequencies for over 50 years and it very routine to hear the EMT dispatchers advising this or that hospital is at bed capacity and for them to seek another hospital for ER services. This changes in several hours as discharges commence, however, like I said, this is a common occurrence, even in 'good times'.

About three years ago Hollywood produced a prime time series called "Code Black" that addressed exactly that.
