So, since Jews only follow the OT, are you claiming that it's perfectly fine to use those quotations to characterize the Jewish religion? Why not some quotes from the New Testament? Many things changed once Jesus came to earth and died for our sins. Jesus taught us the love of God, you don't read in the NT about deaths as it were in the OT. Most Christians follow the NT laws - and in the NT a person that sins (whether Murder, adultry, homosexuality, etc) can be forgiven if they are truly repentent and ask for forgiveness. If not...they will not be struck down as they were in the OT, but they also will not live in eternity with God when their bodies die.
People that only take passages from the OT to show how mean God is really has not read the entire Bible and should study the New Testament all the way through.
The real point is that when it's applied to the Bible, you and other Christians are crying "Hey, those don't represent our actual beliefs!" Same with Muslims when you cherry pick the Koran the same way.
It's actually said this all has to be explained to people....you should have been able to figure out the point by yourselves.
