Don't you just hate it when your political opposition uses your tactics against you? My 1st thought is, 'you reap what you sew, *****". Political lawfare is a 2-way street.
Okay, so maybe there is some payback going on here. I dunno if there is any legal evidence for a basis to conduct an investigation, but it's hard to sympathize. If you wanna play dirty, okay then let's play dirty.
And maybe there is some basis to it. Personally, I have no doubt that many politicians on both sides are engaged in dealings that may or may not be illegal or at best questionable. I suspect James is no different. All we can do is wait and see how it all unfolds.

Back to James, her mantra is “no one is above the law.” While Trump is paying it back, Letitia James made it very easy to even be accused of mortgage fraud on a level that had her marrying her father.
She didn't go after Trump on really shaky grounds if you are talking about trump boinking the porn star and having his business cook the books to hide paying her for silence, that was Alvin Bragg.
Was it wrong for Elliot Ness to campaign on getting Al Capone for his crimes and putting him behind bars?
