I agree that Steve Perry has the greatest voice of any other singer.
 


Okay, so he didn't do much rock, but Sarah did. Jones is also doing new stuff with some rock in his new band.

Freddy? lol no. Perry I could see. Lou Gramm was better, but I hate the band itself.

Elvis is still King, and in three genres no less.

This list in the OP is heavily biased towards the harder end of the rock spectrum ... I was going to bring up Stephen Stills, but that music is a lot softer than the rock in the list ...

Strong contraltos start with Beverly Sills ... ends around Gracie Slick ... it's an unfair comparison ... in good rock-n-roll, we shouldn't be hearing the men screaming into the microphones, not over the guitars ... Joan Beaz' voice was lost around "lady in red" ...

Brightman could, easily; she has a 3 octave range and at least 5 different 'voices' and has covered every genre except country.
