My better half tried to convince me we should go to Germany for Oktoberfest and make a quick side trip to see the Oberammergau Passion Play. The damn thing is 6 hours long. There is no amount of alcohol, let alone beer, that could get me to sit through a 6 hour open air Jesus musical in german so I threw the COVID isn't over yet card.

Anyway, Oktoberfest has never had much appeal to me.
