Never heard of him.

Never heard of him.

Piano player/vocalist/song writer. His last album came out in 2005, "Songs for Silverman". He has not had huge mainstream success since the song "Brick" in 1998 (you might remember it if you heard it). That was when he was a part of "Ben Folds Five". Now he has a pretty dedicated following, but you will not hear him on most popular music radio stations.

His music is not over the top, and pretty much everyone would like it. There are references to things like drugs and sex, but they indirect. The chorus for his song 'Landed' goes like this: "come pick me up, I've landed". United Airlines used this song in their commercials, but if you listen to the entire song, it is obvious he is landing from a different kind of trip.

Anyways, check out some of his stuff. If you are close to one of his tour stops, check him out his concerts are fun...lots of interaction with the audience.
