Comments on social media called for the 15-year-old belly flopper to face serious consequences. The school in Kalamazoo, Michigan said the student athlete who flopped onto Mims made a "poor choice" and that "the behavior was addressed."

His poor choice was addressed? WTH, he almost crippled the kid and did it intentionally.

It’s not like he shot the president. Dude got angry and lashed out. His body weight is a weapon. If he were smaller it wouldn’t have been a big deal. Kids do stupid stuff all the time. Most of you old guys brag about how things were tougher and everyone is so coddled now. I don’t know. It was a bad decision and hurt someone. I doubt he meant to break his back. There is an appropriate punishment for sure. Just not sure it’s jail.

This kid needs to be banned from all school sports and the victims parents should sue the school and the perp's parents. Charges of assault and battery should be lodged against the attacker.
