You can watch numerous videos of youth athletes, in ALL age brackets, engaging in assault, taunting, poor sportsmanship, all the time. You have teammates and family that thrive on these types of engagements with their opponents. Are youth are lacking mentors that inspire sportsmanship. Watch the NFL or the NBA. Watch the celebrations, watch the taunting, watch for the flagrants or the personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct. It's getting worse and it cascades down to our youth.

To me, that player knew what he was doing. Therefore, the maximum sentence is what should be dumped on his plate.
