Think the problem with Islam is just a few bad apples? The most wanted man in Europe hid in plain sight for months. And like Paris, the terrorists from today will be protected by the Muslims as they attempt to destroy civilization.
Europe’s most wanted terrorist Saleh Abdeslam was arrested March 18 just a few blocks from his family home in the Molenbeek district of Brussels. Four other people were arrested in the raid, during which Abdeslam was shot in the leg.
Abdeslam, 26, was part of the terror cell which carried out the attacks in Paris that killed 130 last November. He escaped after the attacks. Police have been searching for him for four months. He was eventually found because of a “suspiciously large” pizza order placed to the apartment he was staying in.
Yet some inhabitants of the Molenbeek district threw projectiles, such as bottles, at police while the raid was taking place, according to the Belgian newspaper La Libre.
Molenbeek has been in the news since it emerged that several high-profile jihadists have links to the area or lived in it. In November 2015, Belgian Home Affairs Minister Jan Jambon said the government does not “have control of the situation in Molenbeek.”
