Be a Part of the Solution

Hand puppets can be a good instructional tool. :laughing0301:

I don't teach kindergarten.

So, are you instructing them using their first language?
Sometimes, to a limited degree. A student's L1 can be an effective tool in accessing their L2 if used the right way.

Alright big mouths! Here's your chance. Give me a practical, realistic idea about improving day-to-day classroom instruction and if it is serious and possible I'll try it out in September and let you know how it went. Remember, "practical" and "realistic."
Eradicate ALL the thirdworlders from our public education institutions, stop teaching the English language and start teaching REAL curriculum….stop issuing teaching credentials to globalist minded leftist teachers like you.

The problem in many classrooms is that lessons and the pace of study are directed at the lowest performing students.
...

.
Nope.

Almost 100% in many HS in BALT, STL cannot even read or write. And you talk about tweaks around the edges?

Dump the FED DEPT of ED. States can fix their own mess. Military zero-tolerance schooling for those out of control.

Impractical, unlawful, and idiotic. Just what I'd expect from a lying loser like you.

Our history teacher in middle school made us cut an article every week out of that week’s newspapers to present to class. We had to be able to tie whatever the article was about to whatever we were studying in class that week.

Forced us to crack open a newspaper and use critical thinking to figure out the connection between what’s happening today and what happened in whatever part of history we were currently on

History teachers do that all the time. Of course, there are almost no newspapers anymore, so students link to an online article.

And here I thought my teacher was incredibly creative

We did that in Civics class in 8th grade.

It is illegal to turn a student away from public school based on their or their family's race, ethnicity, or country of origin. ESL is obviously a required subject for non-native speakers up to a certain level of proficiency. Brokeloser is obviously an idiot.

We need to teach geography again. We had to memorize all 50 statues when I was a kid
