Barry is raking it in..

so he gave his 1.4 million he got for the nobel pp AWAY to CHARITY....

and another $300k plus to charity...

and PAID an additional $1.8 million in taxes....

and there is something wrong with this?????

Of course there is!

The damn socialist-marxist-communized-nazi made some money, paid more taxes than Exxon, and donated a couple of mil to charity.

Can't you see how Obama the Terrible is a hypocrite for making money?!

You do realize of course he paid only 30% tax, far from his so-called 'fair share' right?

I don't wish to write a book.

I'd like to start another tech company. But the Dodd bill and the host of dismal Obamanomics policies make taking the risk on an entrepreneurial venture not very attractive.

I'll wait until Barry is gone and we correct his damage.

Sure. And by that time someone that is more in touch with reality will have eaten your lunch.

If you have to wait until the government makes conditions perfect for you, you are doomed to fail.

Probably want to make that past tense, Ravi.

Making money is great.

Being able to spend your money as you wish is even greater.

Hope Barry makes a bucketload. I also hope he spends it as he wishs.

He managed to donate almost 2 million to charity and still paid 30% ... that's a lot more than I paid.

Oh really?

In 2001 President George W. Bush proposed and the Congress accepted lowering the top marginal rate to 35%.

Yet Barry paid almost 5% less.

It seems he wants YOU to pay your 'fair share' while he of course won't.

Doesn't his nearly $2 million in charitable donations have something to do with that number?

It doesn't count....I'll come up with a reason why it doesn't in a little bit...has something to do with bowing and teleprompters......:eusa_whistle:

The 1.4 was prize money, not earned income.

If he accepts it and is taxed fairly, he has less money then if he just donates it.

Its called gaming the system, fatcats do it all the time.

Do you approve of the fact he used a donation as a tax dodge?
