Barack Hussein W. Bush: "For make no mistake: Evil does exist in the world"

"I make this statement mindful of what Martin Luther King said in this same ceremony years ago: "Violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem: It merely creates new and more complicated ones." As someone who stands here as a direct consequence of Dr. King's life's work, I am living testimony to the moral force of non-violence. I know there is nothing weak, nothing passive, nothing naive in the creed and lives of Gandhi and King.

But as a head of state sworn to protect and defend my nation, I cannot be guided by their examples alone. I face the world as it is, and cannot stand idle in the face of threats to the American people. For make no mistake: Evil does exist in the world. A nonviolent movement could not have halted Hitler's armies. Negotiations cannot convince al-Qaida's leaders to lay down their arms. To say that force is sometimes necessary is not a call to cynicism — it is a recognition of history, the imperfections of man and the limits of reason."

Let me Start by saying this... This Narcissistic Bastard LOVES the Sound of his own Voice.

In those (2) Paragraphs ALONE, he makes Reference to himself in one form or another (8) Times... And this was but a pin drop in a Speech that some of the audience members may have Literally Passed Away during.

Having said that, the Faithful of the Messiah were Primarily Driven by an Anti-War Mentality... The Belief that NO War is the Answer and that NO War is EVER Just. In their own Private Circles, they Blame us for WWII and Sympathize with the Japanese and the Germans, and Regardless of what Barry said to the UN, he Feels the same way.

But just Imagine Bush (43) saying: "For make no mistake: Evil does exist in the world". Hell, it sounds like a Direct Quote from Dubya and the kind of thing the Left used to Mock him for.

So why the Silent Obedience now on the part of MOST of the Left?

This Admittedly Inexperienced Man-Child had the Gonads to Expand a War a week and half before Accepting the Nobel Peace Price he's Known about for some time, and his Base lies down at his Feet like the Shameless, Spineless Sheep that they are.

I Hate Agreeing with Barry's Words, especially when I Know he doesn't agree with them himself.

There is a Reality in the Job he Occupies currently regarding the World, and he Knows it now and there is NOTHING he can do in the Foreseeable Future to "Change" this Reality and he Sure as Hell can't come out and say:

"We Misunderestimated my Predecessor. Now that I Understand the Gravity of the Global Situation, I Understand why he Made the Decisions he Made, and I ask that you Trust me on this as I Fight these Just Wars."

...because he is THAT Self-Involved and Self-Important... And like Most Liberals, he is Incapable of Admitting he is Wrong.

You might say, "Bush didn't Admit he was Wrong"... Well, Barry is continuing his Policies and Expanding a LOT of them... So maybe (43) wasn't Wrong... Give that some Serious Thought the next time your Bush Derangement Syndrome is making you Act a Fool.

I Wrote a LONG Time ago that it didn't Matter if the Liberals Won the White House, that we would NOT be getting out of Iraq or Afghanistan any time soon, and at the Time I was called "Naive" and "Ignorant"... Well, I was Right, and he is doing just what I Knew he would.

The Question is, how long until the Left gets Tired of the 3rd Term of Dubya?

Because regarding Foreign Policy, that is EXACTLY what you are getting, and then some.

Congratulations on your "Hope" and "Change", Sheep!

it does boggle how obama has been given a pass on his speech whereas bush was mocked for virtually the same words about evil and war....then again, most of us expected this of the media and most liberals

President Obama made this kind of speech with Afghanistan, the place that protected Osama Bin Laden and al quaeda, while bush would have made such a speech with the unnecessary war in Iraq in mind.

And then proceeded to put Afghanistan on the back burner and concentrated on Iraq, Its not the words it is the follow up, If President Obama is just playing lip service regarding to Afghanistan then the Bush comparisons will be valid.

NOBODY gave him shit when he said it about Afghanistan.

They gave him shit when he LIED to the country about Iraq and then shipped in pallets of hundered dollar bills that just disapeared.

How many of our bravest are DEAD for those lies?

We judge evil by the evil that affects us as a nation and a people, Afghanistan aided those who attacked us, Iraq did not.

No proof of him being an Iraqi agent and going to war over an incident(wtc93) that happened 10 years before invading seems a bit of a stretch.

Whether said by Obama or by Bush, that is the truth, and no one ever made fun of Bush for telling the truth, only his lies. And, up to your eyebrows, you are full of sh......

What if the anthrax and West Nile were bioweapons attack by Iraq?

No point in telling the American people, "you know, with a few slight changes this BioW Attack could have killed hundreds of thousands...don't worry, go back to sleep, all is well"

Is this on Obama's bedside table?
