WHY does Government have to fund it? Have something against the private sector/INVENTION/Entrepeneurship on an INDIVIDUAL level doing it without Government help?

how about cutting every item in the federal budget by 25%? everything, across the board, no exceptions.

2nd, if we cut the DOD budget to the level you suggest, we will put hundreds of thousands of people on the unemployment rolls. where do we get the money for that? Is it better to have them working building planes, ships, and tanks or sitting at home waiting for an unemployment check?
