If the president f*cks the American people with his economic policies, it's not up to the fed to bail him out.
The fed looks at the economic data, and adjust interest rates to bring down inflation and spur economic growth.
If Trump puts inflationary tariffs in place, that simultaneously reduce GDP, the fed can't drop interest rates.
