I see one of these every year or two:


tl;dr - it's always the same kind of stupidity. They do a survey and "discover" that people who are happier, and have a good attitude, are more likely to enjoy good health and live longer. Or....

Did they merely "discover" that people with good health and longer lifespans are happier and have better attitudes? (duh)

Well there is a difference between association and causation. Social science is not a hard, emperical science per se, many quantitative studies must be conducted to confirm any legitimate finding. I have learned a hell of alot about human psychology, to the point I listen to all forms of media from different ideologies, influencers and even countries. More for my entertainment than education as it all.follows a similar script, just a different slant. Amusement for me, nourishment for others. Sometimes these general correlations nourish people, that's ok too.
